passion for little smiles

When she was younger, Dr. Mitzi Hines traveled to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip and experienced the impact of cleft palate and lip repairs. She knew she wanted to have that kind of impact and decided to attend dental school. While in school, she fell in love with pediatric dentistry and the honest little smiles she served. She wanted to create an environment where children could receive top level care and have fun at the same time.

She finished her Air Force career as a Captain and completed her residency at UH Medical Center and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.

Spending time with her family is her favorite thing to do. She loves to engage in her children’s interests so they can have fun together.
